Background Rapid and quantitative detection of proteins in serum is urgently needed for clinical diagnosis,especially for inflammation disease.Herein,we report a novel fluorescent immunosensor for rapid and quantitative detection of proteins in serum based on the combination of fluorescent quantum dots and immunofiltration pad.Methods Quantum dots with different capping ligands were covalently conjugated with antibodies with random or oriented immobilization crosslinkers.Resulting conjugates using different methods were used as labels in immunofiltration assay for detection of C-reactive proteins.
