Transformations of alkenes with silanes have been emerged as a powerful tool to assemble silicon-containing molecules in synthesis,with the vast majority of examples concerning the hydrosilyation or dehydrogenative silylation of alkenes through alkyl-metal or alkyl radical intermediates.
