　　In this paper,a steel pipe with 45 steel and a length of 6m is used for a strain monitoring experiment on Brillouin Optical Time Domain Analyzer(BOTDA)distributed optical fiber technology.The steel pipe,as a simply supported beam,is forced the concentrated loads in some point of itself.Then distributed strains along the steel pipeline are monitored and a majority of strains are obtained.
