There is growing scientific evidence supported by mechanistic and clinical studies that probiotics can provide health benefits.As high sensitivity of probiotics to many environmental factors,and the elastic nature between the viability of probiotics with its functionality,the development of delivery systems for probiotics goes well beyond commercial aim.The use of microgel to protect bacteria during their process and passage through the human intestinal tract has received considerable attention and seems essential for optimum delivery of probiotics.
