　　A 3-tier manufacturing execution system based on the B/S architecture is proposed, which can be applied to the manufacturing management of glass industry.The requirement analysis and modeling design for the system are completed.The functions of each module in the system are given in brief as well.And a neural network approach to combustion system for glass kiln with U-shaped flame is also introduced in this paper.It is better in use compared with the traditional approaches.
