Background Chronic heart failure (CHF) continues to be a major public health problem with high morbidity and mortality rates.Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) is considered a major breakthrough in the treatment of patients with drug-refractory HF.However, 20%-30% of patients do not respond to CRT, using objective parameters of left ventricular (LV) remodeling, non-responder rates reach 40%-50%.The lack of mechanical dyssynchrony may be related to non-response to CRT.Recently, various types of echocardiography, which is non-invasive and can be repeated, have shown promising results for diagnosis of dyssynchrony. We tested synchronization of cardiac mechanical contraction by means of advanced echocardiography and observed the clinical efficacy of CRT.
