Methane is one of the product gases from landfill sites,which has global warming potential that IPCC estimates to be 23 times greater than that same volume of carbon dioxide.Most of landfill sites type in Indonesia is open dumping of municipal solid wastes (MSW) which has high level of methane concentration.
