Phase-pure ceramic powders of 0.6(Bi0.85La0.15)FeO3-0.4PbTiO3 were obtained by solid state reaction method at 750.℃ The prepared BLFPT powders were mixed with ethanol.Within powder/solvent mass ratio range of (40~55)/(60~45),the filming and rheological properties of tape casting slurry were studied in the viscosity range from 650 to 2700 mPa.s through the components content adjusting of polyvinylbutyral(PVB) as binder,Triethylolamine(TEA ) as dispersant, dibutyl phthalate(DBP) and polyethylene glycol(PEG) as plasticizers.High quality casting films were obtained when the ratio of DBP-PEG/PVB was 1.5~2 with 1%~2% TEA.Then films were dried, cut, laminated and sintered into ceramic disks with high temperature.Effect of pressure factors on densification was studied via controlling lamination types.Electrical properties of final ceramic disks were also measured to estimate the effect of slurry with different component concentration. At last, the structural design of mutliferroic layered composites was preliminary discussed in this letter.
