Heat transfer to falling liquid films on a vertical evaporating tube heated by steam was investigated experimentally. The influences of film flow rate and wall materials as well as total temperature difference on heat transfer characteristics were examined. A correlation of heat transfer coefficients of liquid film was obtained.
