Aims:The surgical experiences of severe lumber spondylolisthesis were summarized in order to investigate the surgical treatment strategy.Materials and methods:There were 42 cases in this study,including male 24 cases,female 18 cases,and ages were 17~68ys.According to the Meyerding classification,26 cases were grade Ⅲ,16 cases were grade Ⅳ.And according to Wiltse refined classification,12 cases were type Ⅰ (dysplastic spondylolisthesis),18 cases were type Ⅱ(isthemic spondylolisthesis),9 cases were type Ⅲ (degenerative spondylolisthesis) and 3 case were caused iatrogenicly.During the operation,we took defferent methods of decompression and reduction according to classification and imaging characteristics,and the cage or iliac bone block were implanted into the intevertebra.All the patients were taken radiograph in standing position.The lumber lordosis,sacral slope,pelvic tilt and pelvic incidence were measured.And the Stauffer-Coventry evaluation criteria were used to evaluate the operation effects.
