In the process of plant growth and development, carbohydrate is the most important substrate for the morphogenesis and development of plant tissues.Two years old apple plants cv Fuji/M26/Malus Robusta were subjected to root pruning and water stress to document potential effect on phytohormone (ABA, ZR,IAA, GA) and carbohydrate content (starch, total soluble sugar).
