Tungsten carbide has been prepared using carbon nanotubes as patterns with one step method, which is synthesized by the compound of carbon black and tungstic acid from sodium tungstate.Hydrogen and nitrogen were used in experimental process for providing reduction and protection atmosphere.In addition, two key reaction conditions of atmosphere and temperature were investigated in detail.The method could realized the mass production of tungsten carbide with controllable morphology and low cost.
