Purpose The unity of CA125 as a prognostic tumor marker has not been consistent to date in non-Hodgkins lymphoma (NHL).Furthermore,serous cavity effusion is frequently observed with elevated serum CA125 levels in NHL.The aim of our study is to assess the prognostic value of CA125 in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and the influence of presence of serous cavity effusion on patients with serum CA125 levels in DBCL patients at diagnosis in the era of rituximab.
