As it is well known that tartrate is a kind of widely used chiral selector in a great variety of enantioseparation of chiral compounds, such as two alcohols, hydroxyl carboxylic acid, hydroxyl ketone, hydroxyl ketone oximes, amino alcohols, amino acids and naphthalene phenolic compounds.And recent years many published papers have reported the applications of enantioseparation using tartrate as chiral selectors in different fields involving biphasic recognition chiral extraction, thin layer chromatography (TLC), capillary electrophoresis (CE), and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).However, there is no published papers reported the enantioseparation using tartrate-boric acid in RP-HPLC up to date.
