CaCO3 is one of the most common heat exchanger fouling ingredients. To explore the mechanism of CaCO3 fouling [1],the adsorption process on carlbon steel is studied aim at several CaCO3 supersaturation solutions in this paper. In this experiment, sodium carbonate was titrated in calcium chloride solution.CaCO3 solution supersaturation is controlled by detecting the conductibility in titration process. The adsorption phenomenon of carbon steel at several CaCO3 supersaturation solutions is determined in this paper. The absorbance can be calculated by the conductibility and the solid-liquid adsorption dynamics equation. The result shows that the adsorption of different CaCO3 supersaturation solution in the surface of carbon steel can be in full accordance with the solid-liquid interface adsorption dynamics equation and the monolayer adsorption mechanism. This study is important theoretical significance for selecting the appropriate countermeasure of prevention and inhibition CaCO3 fouling, and provides a theoretical basis to resolve the CaCO3 fouling mechanism.
