Bile pigments are a class of compounds widely found in plants and animals. One of the most noticeable is bilirubin. As a raw material for artificial bezoar, the current demand is large. It is well known that bilirubin is a degradation product of hemoglobin. With the exception of animals, it has been known in the past that nodules contain hemoglobin. Recently, the French “research” reported that an Australian research team first discovered that a species of hemorrhoids also contained hemoglobin. However, it is not known whether plants also contain bilirubin. Although in the human locust
