The hierarchical packaging of eukaryotic chromatin plays a critical role in all genome-associated biological processes.However,both the dynamic organization and its regulation of chromatin fiber remain poorly understood.Here,we show by single-molecule force spectroscopy that chromatin fibers are organized hierarchically.
