Well defined nanoparticles are at the heart of many emerging devices for application in fields ranging from energy generation and storage to flexible electronics.In some cases,stable hybrid nanoparticle/polymer films containing high loadings of well dispersed nanoparticles provide the necessary performance attributes.In other cases,periodic arrangement of the NPs on well-ordered lattices offers unique properties that can be exploited in devices or in new approaches for metamaterials design.
