In this talk I will talk about the brief overview of risk assessment of chemicals.And then I will talk about the whole picture of risk assessment of chemicals with the example of decabromodiphenyl ether.PRTR (Pollutant Release Transfer Register) has introduced in Japan 2001.Owing to this system,the emission amount of industrial chemicals has been gathered in nation-wide scale.After that extensive research on risk assessment of chemicals has been doing among government research institute and industrial sectors,because not only government sector but also industrial sector has the obligation of risk management of chemicals as the voluntary action.
