The inverse problem considered is to estimate the distribution of a non-observed random variable X ∈ Ω from some noisy observed data Y with help of a timeconsuming function H.In general, such inverse problems are often encountered in treatment of uucertainties for which X is a probabilistic input.A Bayesian framework permits us to take into account the available expert knowledge iu small sample setting.
