甲状腺癌是常见的内分泌系统肿瘤。据统计，在过去30年中，甲状腺癌在全球的发病率不断上升，在所有恶性实体肿瘤中增长速度最快，严重影响病人生活质量并带来巨大的经济及心理负担。其中甲状腺未分化癌是人类甲状腺癌相关死亡的主要原因，而且目前的医治方法大多收效甚微。
