　　English, "a common language" or "lingua franca" has gained unprecedented prominence in China.The past decade has witnessed a growing swarm of Native English Speaker Teachers (or NESTs for short) in Chinese classroom.Although NESTs have satisfied the demand of the increasing need of EFLT teachers (Maum, 2002:2-9), their teaching does not gain expected ends.
