A model of two-objective land-use plan-ning for chemical industry park was es-tablished applying the theory of multi-objective optimization in this paper and the two objectives were the minimum potential loss of life (PLL) and the maxi-mum total benefit.The optimization process of the model was designed and realized based on non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-Ⅱ (NSGA-Ⅱ).The results showed that the model proposed in this paper was feasible and NSGA-Ⅱ was effective.The land-use patterns corre-sponding Pareto-optimal solutions had good reference values for land-use plan-ning of chemical industry park.
