A novel metal dicarboxylates was synthesized in this paper as thermal stabilizers of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC).The as-obtained complexes were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and elemental analyses data.Their high stabilizing efficiency were shown by their high thermal stability value(Ts).The results show that Ca complex and Zn complex had the best collaborative effect,and the thermal stabilization time is much higher than that of traditional calcium/zinc stearate.
