In spite that organic chemistry could be traced back to XVⅧ century, the modern understanding of its laws begun only two centuries later and was related to the discovery of quantum mechanics.Eventually, the studies resulted in formulation of principles describing the processes of assembly of atoms into small molecules and rearrangements of the latter.
