Shimen Gold and Copper Mine is located in the south west of Hami City, with a straight-line distance of 300 km and is located in the western segment of the Tarim-Sino-Korea Plateau, the Tarim ancient land and the Beishan Carboniferous-Permian intracontinental rift. Since the Paleozoic, the Beishan rift experienced three tension-closure processes (Jiapei Xi, 2004), resulting in the formation of complex stratigraphic, tectonic and magmatic activities that provide the formation of gold, copper, nickel, iron, manganese and other minerals A good metallogenic conditions. In this paper, the geological characteristics of Shimen gold-copper deposit are analyzed, and the genesis of this deposit is discussed.
