　　Background: Schistosomiasis japonica is a serious zoonotic diseases, there is a wide range of hosts for schistosome, at least 46 species of mammals are able to be infected with schistosome.Yellow cattle, water buffalo and goat are the three major hosts natural infected with S.japonicum in the endemic areas of China.
