Multi-source uncertainties are inevitable in actual engineering structures, which may affect structural performance profoundly.A structural hybrid reliability analysis approach in presence of multi-source uncertainties is investigated in this paper.Probabilistic, fuzzy and interval variables are employed to model the multi-source uncertainties. The main contribution is the use of universal grey numbers to tackle the problem of interval extension which may lead to excessively conservative estimation.By using 3σ criterion and entropy principle,we can transform both of probabilistic and fuzzy variables into interval variables. Then we are able to compute structural reliability on the basis of interval model which is described by universal grey number.A numerical example is provided to verify the accuracy of proposed method.
