模块教学的理论核心是“整体功能大于部分功能之和”，它具有实用性、独立性、灵活性和综合性等特点。本研究尝试将模块化教学引入具体课堂教学，探索出既符合体育术科生学习特点，又面向社会需求的新课堂教学模式。经过一年的实证研究，通过对实验对象的笔试和问卷调查结果进行统计和分析后得出结论证实大学英语模块化课堂教学行之有效，并受到学生的肯定。
