　　I summarize the technical developments of micro thermoelectric devices and its applications in the field of safety,clinical diagnosis,and energy harvesting.A micro calorimetric device of thermoelectric gas sensor(TGS)with the SiGe thin film and the combustion catalyst has been developed for the gas-selective detection of inflammable gases,CO,CH4 and H2,which are several hundred ppm in human breath.
