　　Background:Endoscopic third ventriculostomy(ETV) is a developing therapeutic stratagem for obstructive hydrocephalus (OH).The aim of this study was to determine the significance of third ventricle diagnostic analysis in OHpatients by three dimensional constructive inference in steady state (3DCISS) sequence magnetic resonance imagination (MRI) and the clinical value of this technique in preoperative and postoperative patients who accepted endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV).
