　　Objective:A new mini-cardiopulmonary bypass (MCPB) system incorporating an air-purge was first introduced to Singapore hospitals as early as 2005.National University Hospital was among the first to use this system,and had done a retrospective case-control study of 60 patients with MCPB system,as compared to conventional cardiopulmonary bypass (CCPB).
