The great success that lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) have experienced in portable electronic devices is now being extended to electric vehicles(EVs),which require high power density,energy density,safety and cyclic stability.Despite of the large theoretical capacity of 372 mAh g–1,the commonly used graphite anode material suffers from its poor rate capability and safety.Among the recently developed anode materials,Li4Ti5O12 has probably received the most attention.
