Inositol 1,4,5-Trisphosohate (IP3) is a global secondary messenger of signal transduction in organism cells.Its receptor (IP3 R) is purified and characterized from rat cerebellum through biochemistry technology and known to be a Ca2+-release channel in 1988.It had been well proved that there are some membrane fractions have the high affinity bind site of IP3 from tonoplast and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane and IP3 can induce Ca2+ release in different plants.
