The mixture of R22 + DMF is considered as a promising new working fluid for absorption refrigeration.In this paper, the solubility of R22 in DMF was measured from T =(283.15 to 363.15) K with a circulation-type equilibrium apparatus.The experimental data were correlated by Peng-Robinson-Stryjek-Vera (PRSV) equation of state using the Wong-Sandler mixing rule with NRTL model.The overall deviations of the pressure were 0.56%.The results show a good agreement with the experimental data.It is shown that the mixture has a large negative deviation from Raoults law.The vapor liquid equilibrium characteristics of the mixture are expressed in a log p-1/T diagram and pressure-composition diagram for use in the analysis of an absorption refrigeration system.
