In many different types of organic radicals, research has focused on the nitronyl nitroxide radicals (NITR) family because of their flexibility and functionality These radicals are especially attractive due totheir donor atoms and to assemble an extended coordination geometry with changing magnetic coupling. Alot of studies on the magnetic properties of nitronyl nitroxide radicals of metal complexes have beenreported. However, the studies on oxalato-bridged complexes with nitronyl nitroxide radicals have beenlacking. In the present work, we have obtained a novel oxalato-bridged dinickel(Ⅱ) complex[Ni2(NIT MeImz)4(C204)](Ac)2·8H20.
