In fusion reactor,the divertor is used to filter the helium ash produced in the reaction.Tungsten is a plausible candidate for divertor material in ITER,because it has a high melting,low sputtering yield and tritium retention.In order to study the interaction of helium plasma and tungsten material.In this study,the characteristics of helium plasmas produced by the divertor simulator were investigated by using the fast reciprocating probe and multi-channel Optical emission spectroscopy(OES).Radiation damage of tungsten surface by helium-induced was studied with SEM and EDX.
