本文通过对电火花加工放电过程及材料腐蚀过程的研究,深入分析了电火药线切割加工脉冲放电波形与参数对加工工艺指标的影响,并通过对各种电源波形与参数组合的试验,摸索出提高电火花线切割加工工艺指标的规律,首先确立了适应电火花线切割加工的比较理想的脉冲电源形式,即与传统的矩形波完全不同的新型高频分组波电源。此种形式的电源经过十余年的实际考验证明,它有效地解决了加工速度与表面光洁度的矛盾,使电火花线切割加工的表面光洁度提高了一级到一级半;在相同光洁度的情况下,加工速度可提高(50~100)%,因此成为目前广泛应用的电源形式之一。
