According to the characteristic of steel truss TV tower, the piezoelectric friction damper PALL brace is used to control the seismic response of the steel truss TV tower.Based on the quick response feature of piezoelectric friction damper, we design a new control algorithm, the local velocity feedback control (LVFC), as the local control algorithm.in the meantime The three-dimensional motion equations of damper steel truss TV tower which is under the seismic function is set up, and the precise time-analysis program which is based on state-space model is exploited in order to calculate the reaction of seismic loads of steel tower before and after under control.According to the calculation, the piezoelectric friction damper can carry out the seismic response of steel truss TV tower in semi-active controlling.
