Carbon/TiO2 nano-composite film has been prepared by a facile sol-gel process using salicylic acid (SA) as carbon precursors, presenting excellent optical absorption performance and thermal stability as a promising solar selective film1,2.The carbonization evolution of the initial gel films, with various carbon precursor contents, was investigated at two comparison atmosphere, air and N2, aiming to elaborating the reactions and transitions during the heat treatment.
