The talk is based on a joint work with Veronika Kurková and Michal Málek.We consider some properties of discrete dynamical systems such as the existenceof an horseshoe,the positivity of topological entropy,the existence of a homoclinic trajectory or Lyapunov instability on the set of periodic points.We survey the known relations between the properties in the case of interval,graph and dendrite maps.
