In this work,we report a facile and a low-cost method to synthesize the hierarchical NiCoO2 nanosheets growing on hollow carbon spheres(denoted as NiCoO2@C).This hollow and mesoporous carbon spheres are prepared via multistep treating using hollow polystyrene as the starting template.After an annealing treatment at high temperature under inert atmosphere,highly crystalline hollow NiCoO2@C microspheres were obtained.When evaluated as an anode material for LIBs,the hollow NiCoO2@C microspheres manifest high specific capacity,enhanced cycling stability,and good rate capability.
