　　1.Vegetable Production In the last dozen years,China has become the worlds largest center for vegetable production.Chinas vegetable harvested area and yield reached 23.4 million hectares and 448.5 million tons,accounting for 43.85 % and 49.64 % of the world total respectively in 2006.Chinas vegetable exports go mainly to Asian countries,and also exports to U.S.and Europe.The export value of vegetables amounted to USD 3.44 billion in 2007,up 9.1% from the same period of 2006.
