In recent year, fogs happen in China with trends of broader area, longer duration and higher frequency under rapid industrialization and urbanization developments, leading to declining urban air quality, which becomes a threat to peoples health.In order to study physical process of mountain fog and reveal its boundary layer structure and macro& micro scale characteristics, a deep fog event happened on December 21st-22nd, 2010 in mountainous area of Xuanen, Western Hubei was analyzed in this paper.
