In this study, the XRD, FT-IR and DSC were used to characterize the crystallinity, functional groups and thermal properties of Parster fiber. Adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm of Parster fiber dyed by Astrazon Red FBL, Astrazon Golden Yellow GL-E and Astrazon Blue FGGL were discussed. The effect of Parster fibers dye uptake influenced by dyeing temperature, time and pH of dye solution were discussesd. The results indicated that crystallinity and glass transition temperature of Parster fiber were both low and there were some sulfonic acid groups in fibers. At 90℃, dye uptake of Parster fiber became fast, and achieved balance at 98℃ after 60min boiling dyeing. It was shown that Langmuir model could fit the experimental adsorption isotherm data better.
