This study took a review of related literatures published in recent ten years, list out the application of acupuncture and moxibustion therapies used for preventing the continuous tumor growing, curing the cancer induced pain, hiccup, and dyspnea, releasing the side reactions such as sickness, nausea and vomiting, myelosuppression, fatigue, xerostomia, et al.caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and figured out the evidence of the improving of QOL(quality of life) of cancer patient treated by acupuncture and moxibustion.We argue that acupuncture and moxibustion ments should be paid much attention to in multimodality treatment of tumor, and methodologic advancements are required in the following clinical researches.
