Despite recent advances in synthetic nanometer-scale tubular assembly, conferral of dynamic response characteristics to the tubules remains a challenge.I will present self-assembled tubules that undergo a reversible switching between stable two states.Self-assembled hexameric macrocycles spontaneously stack to form squeezable tubules with chiral switching to regulate guest interactions.
