　　Rebar corrosion is one of the primary cause of structure deterioration and durability failure for existing reinforced concrete (RC) bridges.The most concern related to rebar corrosion is the associated reduction in steel cross-sectional area,spalling and loss of bond.Two types of corrosion phenomena that may affect the performance of RC structure,which are general (uniform) and pitting (localized) corrosion.
