　　Lead is toxic for the environment and human beings and can result in serious ecological damages [1].In this work,Pb(Ⅱ) ion removal ability of dried duckweed (Lernna perpusilla Tort.) was studied.The duckweed were washed by deionized water for several times and then dried in an oven at 60℃.Batch experiments were designed to investigate Pb(Ⅱ) ion removal and then the FTIR analysis were also conducted to observe the change of the dried duckweed before and after Pb(Ⅱ) adsorption onto it.
