Objective:To discuss effective operative method for posterior edge separation of lumbar vertebral body.Methods:Posterior edge separation of lumbar vertebral body were categorized as lateral type and central type.12 cases of posterior edge separation of lumbar vertebral body were operated upon with limited-incision method using lamina retractor.10 lateral type cases were operated upon with unilateral fenestration and removal of disc polpsus and posterior bony edge; 2 central type cases were operated upon with bilateral fenestration and removal of disc polpsus and posterior bony edge.
